Borough, Surrey & National Competitions
Borough, Surrey and National competitions give more experienced players the chance to compete, individually or in teams, against players from other clubs from across the country/county/borough. Early rounds of the Nationals are zoned and are against opponents from clubs within Surrey.
At CBC we want to encourage members to play in these competitions, where success and recognition adds so much to our overall development. To find out more - what's involved, time commitment, organisation, cost etc. - please speak to one or more experienced player from our club - e.g. David Humphreys, Ian Mellis, Michael/Jean Hewett, Joan Wilson, or Trevor Capes.
All Croydon Borough and Surrey County competitions must be entered via your Club. BCBA entries must be in by mid-end of December and all Surrey entries must be in, by mid-February.
National entries are done by individuals via the Bowls England web site and must be registered by 1st March each year.
